 Before entering our breeding program our dogs are hunted extensively on wild birds.  They must  have the drive, desire, and resilience to finish a hunting season with the same fire that they started the season.

Our Females
Must achieve a Natural Ability score of 105 or better. The average for our breeding females is 110.

I spend countless hours researching and evaluating dogs before I commit to a pairing.  I am not breeding to achieve “good” hunting dogs.  My goal is to breed consistently “exceptional” hunting dogs.  I only consider the highest quality stud dogs and when I find a quality match, I spare no expense of time, money, or convenience to make the pairing happen.  Driving females all over the country to pair with an exceptional stud and trying to time it perfectly is not easy.  However, I have met some exceptional Pudelpointer owners that I now consider friends.    

We currently own three promising young males with an outstanding pedigrees.

Our first Pudelpointer arrived in 2001

Garth was our first Pudelpointer.  I drove out to Boise in 2001 to pick him up and meet Bob Farris.  He lived to be 15.  I am thankful for the memories.

I imported Yala from Germany in 2004.  I had the opportunity to visit her kennel and meet her breeder, Gundolf Pohl.

In 2012, we brought home Stella.  She was the matriarch of our kennel.

28Dogs Tested

Our Dogs hunt! Their Parents, Grandparents, and Ancestors tracked back to the 70s Hunt. In fact, a non-hunter should not own a Pudelpointer.

10Generations

All of the Sires that we have used are ranked in 90th percentile for every category evaluated for the last 5 years.
