Red is out of Cedarwoods Miss Montana by Cedarwoods Jumping Jack. He is co-owned by Paladin Gundogs and Caliber Point Gundogs. Red is around 65 lbs. and 25” at the shoulder. He is a fast dog that and has the stamina to go with it. Red is an intelligent hunter and naturally adapts his range to ensure he is and effective team member. He has hunted the South Dakota prairie for Sharp-tails off horse back and reached out to 400 yards yet he spends most of his field time in chasing Ringnecks in thicker cover. His duck search and water drive are of the highest order. He has a dense coat that that offers good protection from the late season MN cattail sloughs. Red has an easy going way about him and he is just as comfortable in the kennel as he is in the house. He is a quiet, easy keeper in both. He is the kind of dog that not many words or commands need to be spoken, he pays attention and as soon as he figures out what is wanted, he does it.
