Paladins Bo Whoop (Bella) earned a maximum score in her Natural Ability Test (NA 112 Prize I) with a first time handler. She is out of HARDTRIGGERS STELLA by BLACKHAWKS AUGUSTA MCCRAY. She is owned by my longtime friend and hunting partner, Todd Singsank.
Bella is beautiful! Her coat maybe short but her drive is not. You should see her work a field. She moves so gracefully fast and slams to point. She is “hell on wheels” working wild IA pheasants.
Bella is medium ranging upland dogs with stamina to spare. She handles cold water well and have relentless drive. She hunts North Dakota for ducks and often retrieves wounded birds that the labs could not locate. Bella is about 45 pounds and doesn’t require much pressure while training and she has that highly valued off switch.
More importantly, Bella is the kind of dog that is the real deal bird dogs. When she is in the field, it doesn’t matter what other dogs are with her, all eyes are on her because she will find wild birds early and often.

I met Jason Mix many years ago when I sold him his first Pudelpointer. Later when he was deployed to Germany by the military he had me work with his second Pudelpointer that he imported while stationed there. Over the years I have encouraged Jason to take an active role as a breeder as his honesty and dedication to the breed is rarely seen in today’s world of hunting dog enthusiasts. I am so proud of the road Jason has taken with the Pudelpointer as a breed and his role on NAPPA’s board as one of their directors.
