Just to the end of the driveway for their first flight out of the yard. These are homing pigeons we use for dog work.
Some days I think it would be easier to just buy feral birds and not mess with keeping homers. But if my teenage daughter is willing to give me ten minutes of her time to work with birds together, I’m all in. Some things are worth the extra effort.
