PALADINS DANGER CLOSE

Paladins Danger Close (Case) is a maximum score Natural Ability Prize I dog. She is product of our Breeders Award winning “D” litter. She is out of HARDTRIGGER’S STELLA by CEDARWOODS HARLEY.  Case lives with my friend and hunting partner, James Otto. She lives in the house full-time with Jim’s family and one of her daughters (Luna). She spends her time duck, goose, and pheasant hunting with Jim.

“Danger Close” is a military phrase used in battle when forward and directing fire onto an enemy. As an Artillery term, it is included in the method of engagement segment of a call for fire which indicates that friendly forces are within close proximity of the target. Just as a good pointing dog locks down game and directs the handler in for the flush.  Case is from our “D” litter, thus PALADINS DANGER CLOSE

Case’s Coefficient of Inbreeding is 14% which makes her a solidly linebred dog. The odds tilt heavily in the favor of the pup whose ancestors were both related and above average performers. Out of 30 dogs on Case’s 4 generation pedigree, it shows (2) Versatile Champions, (11) Prize 1 Utility Dogs, and (19) Prize 1 Natural Ability Dogs. Yes I know, paper doesn’t make a gun dog but it does stack the deck that Case will pass on her true versatility and awesome balance of cooperation and a tenacious drive. Consider the Coefficient of Relationship for some of the dogs in Case’s pedigree.
